Did one back in late Oct 2017 from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale. 15 days. Great crowd, no kids, halloween party. Smooth cruise. I guess can be rocky if they sail northern Atlantic diagonally to north America.

Suggestion: Bring a deck of cards and a small note pad to keep score. The wife and I play 500 Rummy several times during sea days on the deck to while away the time in a leisurely manner.

Have you tried the Fort Lauderdale Hilton? I think you will find that one better and just a tad less expensive.

I’ve to shift some weight, being just into the ‘pre-diabetic’ range…too darn busy looking after other folks to look after myself! We nurses never seem to retire… Vegan already, I’m now cutting down on portion size and cutting out the snacks. Just a note, an episode of Star Trek, The Next Generation, has the Enterprise picking up some farmers, who STILL EAT ANIMAL FLESH! I seem to recall Riker commenting on how long ago it was since humans stopped doing that…Go, Riker! A plant based diet is the way to Live Long and Prosper…cheers from England xxx

Hey Libby! So glad I found your channel. I have been having some blood pressure issues, and started medication to control it. THEN I started doing research on the medication and decided I would rather take my chances on a whole food plant based diet than slowly kill myself with the medication I was prescribed. I'm down 9.25 lbs and it will be one month (3 days from now). Blood pressure has been down substantially, but I'm thinking I still have about 30 lbs I'd like to say good bye to for good! I just turned 59, but I STILL think the weight will come off...nobody can get fat eating plants. 😁 The fiber just fills you up too fast. God speed on your health journey!

Hi, I been on a wfpb since April 2021. But this past January got covid. Then I felt loss of appetite and lost too much. I was 170 and got to 144. Now I’m back to 160 & recent blood work showed I’m pre-diabetic. Dr says cumin carbs. But wfpb as you know we eat carbs. My plan is cut out all the sweets, junk, & process foods I went back to after covid. And incorporating 3x a week cardio. I retest in April. Any suggestions or additional advice for me? I would appreciate.😃

Glad I saw this video. My girlfriend wants me to take her here but I looked at the rooms and thought they look as normal as a 3 star hotel for that kind of price. I rather go somewhere cheaper and get cheap quality. Conrad looks overpriced

Repositioning cruises have to be timed right. It's only twice a year. Best to be retired.

I find this to be very confusing. You’re a type one diabetic, and you are eating starches. Aren’t those high carbs, and will trigger your insulin need? I don’t even understand how you lost weight on this diet.
